Google AdWords

What is Google AdWords and how do you use it?

Google AdWords is the foundation of successful Pay Per Click advertising today and is explained by Google in this short video with sound.

I have chosen to focus on Google AdWords for a number of reasons:

1) We use AdWords to bringing in a consistent number of leads each month. This is as opposed to search engine optimization (SEO) where a change in Google’s algorithms can drop a company’s leads dramatically overnight. AdWords provides much more control over when and where the website listings appear.

2) We use it to generate leads at a cost per lead that provides a nice profit.

3) We focus the advertising budget on those items or services where advertising on the web is most profitable.

4) We adjust advertising seasonally which is not possible with advertising like the Yellow Pages.

5) We target the ads to geographic areas and also run them at select times of day and days of the week that are most apt to target your potential customers.

6) We measure the results of the AdWords advertising so we quickly determine if it is a worthwhile advertising channel for your business. If not, the ads and spending can be stopped right away.

Working with me, your AdWords account will belong to you and the billing will be to your credit card. I will be responsible for recommending, tuning up, and managing the keywords, advertisement wording, landing page URLs (webpage addresses), targeting, tracking and measuring results, all with your approval. I manage your account on a regular basis to keep spending within budget and work to continually improve results.

I offer a AdWords Account Audit that provides an analysis of your account and analytics data (as available) and I will let you know if I think that I can improve your AdWords performance. Read about my PPC Audit.
